Truth- acrylic on vellum

This painting was inspired by reading scripture (Hebrews 11:1, Jeremiah 29:13, John 8:32 and Romans). I can't exactly explain where the images came from, but I when I thought of truth, I immediately thought of direction, and Twila Paris' song "True North" came into my head. Then also the idea that North is the straight and true way, and that the truth is not always straight in front- sometimes it must be sought out in places that are not clear ahead. The other images are the sun (left) and the moon (right)- everything floating in the ocean.

This piece has great personal value to me.
